Reading the OKX withdrawal network menu for USDT and USDC, entry by entry

Guides · 2026-10-16

The OKX withdrawal form looks simple until you open the network dropdown for a stablecoin. Instead of one choice you see a list of chains, each with its own fee, minimum amount and sometimes a note about confirmations. The receiving side only understands one or a few of these, and choosing a network it does not support can leave your funds stranded. This guide walks through the menu field by field so that you pick the right entry on purpose rather than by habit.

Start at the receiving end

Before opening OKX, open the wallet, exchange or app that will receive the stablecoin and go to its deposit or receive screen. Select the same token and read which networks it lists. Copy the address from there and note the network name exactly. If the receiver shows several networks, choose one that also appears in the OKX list. If it shows only one and OKX does not offer that chain for this token, stop and choose a different token or route rather than guessing.

What the fields in the OKX dropdown tell you

In OKX, go to Assets, then Withdraw, choose the stablecoin and select on-chain withdrawal. Each network entry shows the chain name, the fee charged by OKX for that network and, on the next screen, the minimum withdrawal amount. Some entries carry a label for estimated arrival or the number of confirmations required. The fees differ between chains and change with network conditions, so read the value in the form rather than one you remember. The OKX help center explains how withdrawal fees are set and where the current values are listed.

Similar names that are not the same chain

Some networks have names that look alike or appear with abbreviations: a layer-two network, its parent chain and a sidechain may all show the same token symbol. The address format can even look identical across several EVM-compatible chains, so the address field will not warn you. Rely on the network name rather than the address shape. If the receiving platform calls the chain by a slightly different name, look it up in that platform's help pages before sending.

Memo fields, address book and a test transfer

A few networks require a memo or tag when sending to an exchange account. If the receiving screen shows one, paste it into the matching OKX field; missing it is a frequent cause of lost deposits. Save addresses you use often in the OKX address book with the network attached, which reduces mistakes next time. For a new destination, send a small amount first and wait for it to be credited on the other side before sending the rest.
