Downloading OKX bills and order history each month so your records stay complete

Where OKX keeps bills, order history and funding records, how to download statements by month, and what notes to add so that transfers and conversions make sense when you look back later.

OKX records every movement in your account, but the information is spread across several places: order history for trades, bills for every balance change, and separate records for deposits and withdrawals. Downloading them once a year is a chore that often fails, because some exports are limited by date range. A short monthly routine is easier, and it gives you a clean record for budgeting, tax preparation or a support ticket.

Know which record answers which question

Order history, under the trade section, shows each order with price, amount and status. Bills, found under Assets, list every change to your balance, including trading fees, funding payments on perpetual contracts and transfers between your trading and funding accounts. Deposit and withdrawal records show on-chain transfers with their transaction IDs. When something looks wrong, bills usually explain it, because they show the exact line that changed the balance.

Download a statement for each month

In Assets, open the bills or statement section and look for the download option. Choose the account type and a one-month date range, then request the file. It is prepared in the background and appears in the download list when ready. Repeat for order history if you trade actively. Save the files with a clear name such as okx bills plus year and month, in a folder that is backed up.

Add notes the export cannot hold

For each withdrawal, write a line in a simple log: the destination, whether it is your own wallet or someone else's, and the transaction ID. Do the same for deposits from other platforms. When you convert small balances or move funds between your own accounts, note why. These few words make the difference between a record you can explain and a list of numbers that looks like a series of sales.

Cross-check fees while you are there

Pick two or three trades from the month and compare the fee in the order details with the rate shown on your fee level page in the profile. The fee rules FAQ explains how levels are calculated. If a fee looks higher than expected, check whether the order filled as taker. Doing this monthly catches misunderstandings early instead of after a year of assumptions.
